AOI WB State Travel Fellowship Awards for the year 2010

Following Travel fellowship Awards are available to Members (Ordinary / life) who have completed three years of membership

Deadline for submission of Application to Hony. Secretary is on or before 30th November'2010.

Terms and conditions are as follows:

1. These travel fellowship grants will be awarded once a year for visiting Otolaryngology centers of excellence in our country except West Bengal.
2. The awardee will have to utilize the fund within 6 months after the date of being awarded.
3. The tenture of stay should be minimum 15 days. Candidates are requested to enquire from the head of the center to be visited for necessary facilities & accommodation.
4. The awarded must be less than 40 years of age on the last date of application.
5. Application for travel fellowship must be enclosed by

a) Evidence of age.
b) Evidence of Qualifications.
c) Evidence of AOI W.B. Membership Number and Payment of annual dues.
d) Reference from two Senior AOI W.B. members.

6. The awardee will have to submit to Hony. Secretary the following documents after completion of the fellowship.

a) A certificate of attendance from the Head of the Center attended.
b) A type written report in duplicate about his / her visit and observation.
7. Payment of Award money will be made only on submission of above certificate and report.
8. The decision of the executive committee will be final.

Major K.K. Ghosh Award Competition at 39th Annual State Conference, Durgapur

Terms and Conditions are as follows:

a) Open to Junior fellows with not more than 10 years of professional standing after graduation & enrolment as a member of our Association is mandatory for participation. The certificate of year of passing graduation must be attached.

b) Articles should be based on candidate's own work pertaining to diseases of ENT and must not have been published in any journal or read in any conference. Candidate himself / herself should give an undertaking to this effect.

c) Participants should send two copies of type written full text of the presentation in article form & not abstract to the Hony. Secretary at the Association office which will not be returned.

d) The participants should not have any objection to the publication of the article in State Journal of Otolaryngology in part or full at the sole discreation of Editorial Board.

e) Decision of the judges will be final.

Deadline for submission of article is on or before 30th November'2010.

Prof. B. K. Roychaudhuri Senior Consultant Award Paper

a) Open to all ordinary and life members above 35 yrs of age.

b) Participants should send two copies of type written full text of the presentation in article form & not abstract to the Nony. Secretary at the association office which will not be returned.

c) The participants should not have any objection to the publication of the article in State Journal of Otolaryngology & Head & Neck Surgery in part or full at the sole discertion of Editorial Board.

d) Decision of the Judges will be final.

e) Abstract should be sent to the Hony. Secretary by 30th November, 2010

Prof. Santanu Banerjee Competitive Video Session

a) Open to all ordinary and life members.

b) Operative CD of candidates's own work pertaining to disease of ENT should be of 10 minutes duration.

c) Recording of voice is not essential.

d) Extract should be sent to the Hony. Secretary by 30th November, 2010
